Yeah - the sad part is that I honestly in some ways respect the conservative philosophy of governement (respect for written law, personal privacy, freedom of speech and religion, free trade, fiscal responsibility), but the irony is that today's Republicans don't practice any of that, unless of course it solely benefits them.
